Thanks Mike!
Jan 25, 2023Emanuel Whittaker spent 3 weeks on Kershaw Street fitting windows and doors.
Great Places resident, Mike was there every morning to greet us, offering tea and biscuits to the site team.
We thought he deserved a little treat, so we dropped off a box of chocolates.
He was made up!

Well deserved treat…
Jan 25, 2023Great Places resident, Janice Cheetham, works 6 days a week as a nurse and so required several visits for us to fit her windows and repairs.
Janice was so patient and very understanding regards access issues and several times gave us very early access.
Site Manager, Phil Taylor, dropped in to see her to give her some chocolates and to thank her for her patience.

Say it with chocolates
Jan 25, 2023RBH resident, Mrs Hardwick, is so impressed with her finished kitchen, she bought the Emanuel Whittaker site team a box of chocolates to say thank you.
Mrs Hardwick also said that she has bought the perfect frame which will live above the cooker, the frame states ‘Meals & Memories are made here’.

Festive fun…
Jan 24, 2023To celebrate Christmas, instead of the usual coffee morning, Great Places residents at Pullman Close, decided to cook a full Christmas dinner and invited Resident Liaison Officer, Sarah Kershaw and Site Manager, Phil Taylor, along to join them.
We took along a box of biscuits as a thank you and it was so nice to see everyone again and to have a look at the greenhouse we made a donation towards last year.

Considerate Contractor
Jan 24, 2023
A few residents were concerned when work was announced at Rectory Green, due to their being a Memorial Garden in the communal area of flats 1 – 12.
Emanuel Whittaker always take any resident concern seriously, so some protective matting was ordered and laid to reduce the impact of foot traffic on the lawn, while scaffold was erected. Pots and shrub tubs were also temporality relocated where possible, to reduce the possibility of any damage.
This was noted by the residents who tend to the garden and have thanked us on a few occasions for our consideration.
