Festive Fun

Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Garry Holt, put a festive hamper together for a Rectory Green Christmas raffle; every flat number was put into the raffle bag ready to be drawn. Prestwich and North Western’s Housing Officer, Julie Hodgkinson and Garry, drew the raffle, and Mr Michael Mooney was declared the winner! Michael was delighted with his hamper and couldn’t thank us enough, stating – “Emanuel Whittaker had made his Christmas and that it was very much appreciated”. After the Christmas break, Mrs Mooney said that “the hamper was full of goodies and they were all delicious”.

Mock Interviews

As part of St Mary’s Catholic High School’s careers initative, Year 11 pupils completed CV’s in their English lessons in preparation for a Mock Interview Day.

All pupils experienced a 15 minute formal interview receiving feedback from a wealth of employers.

Emanuel Whittaker’s Sarah Kershaw attended the school to take part in the mock interviews. Throughout the day Sarah interviewed 10 students who all had an interest in apprenticeships and working in the building industry.

Emanuel Whittaker are in the process of upgrading the kitchen for MSV resident Melba Finni, who Is so happy with the electricians at HEC, especially Mark Howrth, that she wanted to put something in writing.
