Helping Hand
Feb 22, 2022Poor health made preparing for a new kitchen very difficult for FCHO resident, Cecilia McAdam.
So Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Courtney Greatorex and Site Manager, Ian Spence, helped to pack up her entire kitchen. But they made sure to keep a table with tea, coffee, sugar, microwave and toaster etc. for her to use whilst the works were being done.
Also, Emanuel Whittaker Labourers, Ben Senior and Steve Gallagher removed Cecilia’s old washing machine to make space for her new one, and moved boxes to create access. When the works were complete, they put everything back before they left.
The Emanuel Whittaker team went above and beyond and even stayed after hours to make sure Cecilia was comfy while works proceeded, even down to vacuuming and taking bags of rubbish to the tip.
Cecilia is truly grateful and is so happy with her new kitchen!

… and another happy customer
Feb 21, 2022Lauren Walker’s new cooker hood hadn’t arrived when Emanuel Whittaker came to fit her new kitchen and bathroom… and it still hadn’t arrived when the works were complete. So Emanuel Whittaker Site Supervisor, Steven Bowers, went back a week after handover to install her new cooker hood.
Thanks Steven for adding those all-important finishing touches.

Double Vision…
Feb 21, 2022After having her new bathroom fitted, FCHO resident Helen Atogbeji bought a couple of mirrored cabinets to add to her lovely new room.
When the Emanuel Whittaker team realised that Helen didn’t have the correct tools to erect the cabinets herself, they offered to help put them up for her.
Helen is over the moon with the professional job!

Finishing touches
Feb 21, 2022When FCHO resident, Jodie Brotherdale heard she was getting a new kitchen, she had some plans to make hers extra special. Her dream kitchen included an integrated cooker hood, which she had bought separately, ready to add when her kitchen was finished.
When the Emanuel Whittaker team arrived to install her new kitchen, they were more than happy to go the extra mile, and installed the hood before they finished up.
Jodie was delighted and loves her new kitchen!

All in a days work…
Feb 21, 2022After a previous bad experience of having a kitchen replaced, FCHO resident Samantha Cox was very nervous about having a replacement bathroom and re-wire.
Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Courtney Greatorex and Site Manager, Ian Spence reassured Samantha that not all contractors were the same. They promised that they would treat her home like their own, making sure she was happy and not stressed by the works.
True to their word, the works went smoothly, and the Emanuel Whittaker team even fitted a glass door for her shower and soap and towel holders for her.
Samantha is more than happy with her new bathroom and so grateful to the Emanuel Whittaker team for keeping their promise.
Samantha has since sent a message to the Emanuel Whittaker team:
“I would just like to say how professional and patient Courtney was with me whilst handling my full re-wire and bathroom replacement, she was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure the contractors worked really hard to make the job run smooth, with very little disturbance. I was so happy with the job done at my home and the contact I had with Courtney, I contacted her several times and she was always very polite and professional. Anything I asked, she was straight back to me to put my worries to rest. Courtney is friendly and professional and a great asset to Emanuel Whittaker”.
