FCHO resident, Gemma Greenwood, bought her own radiator, which she asked if Emanuel Whittaker would be able to fit in her newly replaced bathroom. Plummer Charlie kindly agreed to do so for her.

Emanuel Whittaker Site Supervisor, Steve Bowers also put up some new blinds which the resident had bought to match her new bathroom.

Gemma was very grateful.

Mark’s last job…

Emanuel Whittaker Site Manager, Mark Healey, was asked to make the bathroom replacement at Kenyon Lane his priority before Christmas.

It was originally down for a standard bathroom replacement until the resident became poorly and so we changed the work stream to an adapted bathroom, to suit the resident’s on-going needs.

It became Mark’s last job as a Site Manager at Emanuel Whittaker, as he is now enjoying retirement!

Northwards Housing resident, William, is over the moon with his new walk in shower.

MSV residents, Terry Drabble and his daughter Angela Taylor, have made a Santa’s Grotto on the Carrbrook estate, Stalybridge.

Emanuel Whittaker have donated strip lights and tinsel for the Grotto.

Caring Courtney

Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Courtney Greatorex, has been working closely with FCHO resident, Christine Entwistle, since she has become quite poorly. The Emanuel Whittaker team have made sure that she hasn’t had to lift a finger, working together with support of herself and her family. Courtney has also moved heavy objects, taken curtain, curtain pole and blinds down, helped pack some of her kitchen and move her living room around to make it liveable and as comfortable for Christine as possible, while we are putting in her new kitchen. Courtney took pleasure in meeting Christine and enjoyed listening to her stories that she would tell from her youth.
