#keepitclean

Aug 25, 2021

Despite everyone’s efforts to stop this unpleasant and hazardous activity, fly tipping and littering continue for residents’ of Gorton.

One resident awoke to find an old suitcase littering her driveway…

Thankfully Emanuel Whittaker Site Manager, Neil Wignall was on hand to clear the suitcase from the residents’ drive.

Lucky Charm…

Aug 25, 2021

After having a new fire door fitted at Victoria Square, a resident was upset that her lucky horse shoe could not be re-fitted.

But her luck was in, and an Emanuel Whittaker joiner re-fixed the horseshoe to the brickwork at the side of the resident’s property.

The customer is over the moon!

Megan’s a mover!

Aug 25, 2021

When Salix Resident, Malatry, moved in to Oakhill Court, she discovered that her sofa was too big to move in with her!

Not to worry… Emanuel Whittaker Joiner, Megan Boygle, was more than happy to help!

Megan temporarily removed the flat entrance door and helped Malatry to move her sofa.

Malatry was very grateful with Megan’s kind gesture.

Dog walking duty

Aug 25, 2021

No, it’s not bring your dog to work day! It’s just Janice giving a helping hand.

Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer Janice Nolan is taking Buster the dog out for his daily walk.

Buster’s owner is poorly at the moment, so Janice and Site Manager Katie Lockwood have been taking turns to give Buster a daily walk around the block.

Thanks girls!

Perfect Planters

Aug 25, 2021

Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer Ludmila Alves, has been taking advantage of the recent glorious weather in the Community Garden at Oakhill Court. Whilst there, she spotted two planters that were rotten and falling apart.

So Ludmila enlisted the help of colleague, Joiner Megan Boygle. Megan quickly designed and constructed two new planters from leftover pallets on site.

The planters were then finished with stain donated by subcontract partners, Riverstone Decorators.

Finally, Ludmila added the final flourish by planting up the beds… a job well done!
