Mr Neate of Grove Road, Rochdale, had ceramic tiles on his kitchen floor that ran straight through to the toilet.  But over the years, as his health and mobility had deteriorated, he was finding the slippery tiles a bit of a hazard.

So when the Emanuel Whittaker team went in to install his new kitchen, they had no hesitation in coming up with a plan to solve the slippery snag.

They sourced some leftover non-slip flooring to match, that they installed in his kitchen and ran it through to his toilet too.

Mr Neate was delighted with his new kitchen as well as the extra works carried out by the team.

When the lifts at Victoria Square were out of service, a new resident realised he had a problem on his hands.

The new resident had purchased a bed and a mattress to furnish his new flat but had no way of getting them up the stairs to his top floor property.

That’s where Emanuel Whittaker apprentice joiner Taylor Varley stepped in to help.

Taylor took the customers mattress and bed up the stairs, and safely put them in the resident’s new home.

Since joining his colleagues in delivering the FRA scheme for Northwards Housing, Taylor has quickly become an asset to the team.

Victoria Square resident, Mr Smith, is over the moon with his new front door.

Emanuel Whittaker joiner, Ian Chambers fitted his new door recently, and had already passed Mr Smith’s thanks on to the team. However, when Mr Smith saw Site Manager Katie Lockwood doing her rounds, he just had to call her over to explain just how good he thinks it is!

Mr Smith said that the level of service he has received from the Emanuel Whittaker team is brilliant. He says that he was treated with respect and kindness whilst work was carried out in his home. He especially wanted to thank Ian, who he said worked really hard and had left his home clean and tidy.
