Helping Hand

Jan 23, 2024

Emanuel Whittaker Joiner, Mick Crossan, managed to assist Rectory Green resident, Joan Eastwood, in the memorial garden again.

This time, it was dressing the trees in fairy lights for the festive period, which looked quite magical when lit in the evening.

Thanks for all your help Mick.

We also had several runners up who won either luxury biscuits or chocolates and as you can see from the photos, it looks like we really did manage to make someone’s day.

Festive Cheer

Jan 23, 2024

Before we closed site for the Festive period, the Emanuel Whittaker site team decided to post a card through every door, wishing them a ‘Merry Christmas’.

We also entered each block into a raffle to win a box of Fox’s special cookies, as a Festive Treat.

One of the winners, Mr Kelly, was over the moon with his gift. He also wanted to thank Riverstone for the internal decoration they had carried out within his home, and wished everyone on site a ‘Merry Christmas’.

Our second winner, Mrs Pluta, was delighted she had won the raffle, she also wanted to thank everyone on site for the work they have done and wished everyone a ‘Merry Christmas’.

Delightful Donation

Dec 20, 2023

Whilst we were installing new bathrooms at Alexander Briant Court, the residents were in the process of setting up a little Tuck Shop in the building, so that the residents can get supplies, without needing to go out into the cold.

They asked if we could help in any way. So we donated £100 worth of shopping to give them a little kick start.

Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Janice Nolan, took MSV Scheme Assistant, Shirley, shopping for the items.
