Helping Hand

Jimmy is currently helping new PNWHA resident, Kathleen, decorate her Rectory Green home and had removed an existing marble fire place and hearth.

Unfortunately, the fireplace was too heavy for Jimmy to discard by himself.

So, Emanuel Whittaker Resident Liaison Officer, Garry Holt, and Joiner, Mick Crossan, stepped in to carry the weighty items down the stairs of the first floor flat and straight out into our site skip.

A beaming Jimmy said afterwards, “Thanks for your help lads, I really couldn’t have done it without you!”

Emanuel Whittaker have recently had a work experience operative on site, Aidan Kershaw, from St. Mary’s High School.

Aidan is studying Construction and Business Studies and is looking at a career in the Building Industry.

During his time on site, Aidan met with residents, sub-contractors and our Client, Great Places Housing Group.

Aidan really enjoyed his time with Emanuel Whittaker and was extremely grateful for the opportunity.

Aidan received several compliments from residents, for his attitude and politeness.

Sofa Sorted

Kathleen is a new PNWHA resident at Rectory Green, and had a bit of a problem when moving in, as her new sofa wouldn’t fit through the door.

Luckily Emanuel Whittaker were due to fit new windows that week.

So, as soon as the existing lounge window was removed, Emanuel Whittaker Joiner, Mick Crossan, and Sovereign Window Fitter, Alan May, safely delivered Kathleen’s sofa directly through the window opening and in to place in Kathleen’s lounge.

An over the moon Kathleen has since popped in to the Site Office with a large tray of pastries, as a thank you!
