Burnage Community Centre

The users of Burnage Community Centre have soldiered on with their drafty old windows for many years.  But thanks to a generous donation of 19 new UPVC double glazed windows, courtesy of Southway Housing, the Centre is looking forward to a brighter future.

The windows and security grills were purchased by Southway Housing  as part of their ongoing commitment to help local communities and good causes.  All that was left was to get them fitted.

Emanuel Whittaker are currently delivering a programme of window and door replacements in the area, and were quick to volunteer their services in installing the windows and grills.

The Centre is in constant use by local residents of all ages, who were reluctant to cancel any of their planned activities.  So on a very cold Wednesday afternoon in January, Emanuel Whittaker sent in their window fitting teams to do the job which was completed within two days.

The windows make an incredible difference to the Centre, making it much warmer and easier to heat, as well as being brighter and more welcoming.
