Lee’s going the extra mile

Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end

During a cold snap, local resident Bert was having his internal works carried out to his home at Gloverfield.  Bert was very unwell and suffering from flu. It was clear that Bert needed to rest, and noticing his poorly condition, Labourer Lee Barham thought he’d make him a cup of tea.

But then he noticed that Bert hadn’t even got the basic provisions in his flat to make a brew, as he hadn’t been out for several days.

Lee decided to go out and get him some shopping.  After being challenged by his site manager for leaving the property unfinished, Lee explained that he was going to get some basics, milk and bread for Bert so he could make him a brew and toast as he was unwell.
