Site team come to Sheila’s rescue

Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end

Losing your keys can be annoying at the best of times, but when you’re diabetic it can become a real nightmare.

Duchy resident Sheila Taylor became very anxious when she discovered that she had lost her house keys after a trip to the shops. Sheila is an insulin dependent diabetic, and needs to take her insulin at regular intervals. Worrying about sorting out the locks only made her anxiety worse.

Fortunately, Sheila called into the Emanuel Whittaker site office with a plea for assistance. The Site team quickly got onto Salix to explain the situation.  Susan on the Helpdesk was very understanding and quickly got the wheels in motion to get a team out to sort Sheila’s locks out.

In the meantime, the Site Team helped Sheila to calm down with a good old fashioned remedy: a nice cup of tea and a reassuring chat.

Sheila’s locks were fixed in no time, and Sheila was soon relaxing back at home.
