No more wash day blues

Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end

The site team at Duchy are finally coming to the end of a lengthy programme of works to bring homes on the Duchy estate up to the Salix Standard. But that hasn’t stopped them going the extra mile to help local residents make the best of the improvements to their homes.

The latest family to benefit from the teams little acts of kindness had a real practical problem.  When the Williams family from Formby Road heard they were getting a new kitchen, they ordered a new washing machine to replace their worn out and old one. Unfortunately, Mr. Williams discovered that he was no plumber, and was struggling to install his shiny new machine.

In a household with six children, including a new born, the lack of a washing machine was becoming a real problem. So big hearted site manager, Paul Robinson offered to help out. In his free time he popped round and plumbed in the machine for Mr. Williams.

Job done – apart from the laundry!
