Adam gives reviving Reiki treatment

Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end

The Salix Homes Disability Awareness Group produced an amazing ‘Protocol for Operatives’ for their contractors working on Salix Homes schemes.  Emanuel Whittaker Partnerships Manager Rukhsana Nabi went to visit the group to thank them for their work and explain how it had been used within the company.

During the visit she discovered that one of the long standing members of the group had been diagnosed with cancer and had undergone extensive chemotherapy.  Whilst discussing his treatment, he had explained how he had been looking into alternative and holistic therapies to help him manage his condition.

So Rukhsana quickly got on the phone to ask colleague, and qualified Reiki Healer, Adam Berry, if he could help.  Adam quickly got in touch with the resident and gave him his first free treatment within a week.  He enjoyed the treatment so much he has booked another one with Adam in a couple of weeks.

Adam is giving free Reiki sessions to help residents who live in Black Friar Court, the tower block where Adam is Lead Resident Liaison Officer. Its no surprise that Adam won Corporate Social Responsibility Outstanding Individual Award at this year’s NFB Awards.
